Expertise
In september 2009 Jobke completed the master communication science at the University of Twente. She specialized in health communication.
Prior to these studies in Twente, Jobke studied psychology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. She completed the master in 2007, specializing in psychology of culture and religion.
Jobke’s expertises lie in these areas:
Ehealth – Improving health through the use of information and communication technology
User centered Design – Designing interventions and applications with the involvement of (end) users to ensure an optimal fit with practice and acceptation.
Research projects
Jobke started as a junior researcher at the PCGR group in February 2010. She performed a systematic review on the use of eHealth in physical therapy. Since May 2010 Jobke is working on the Eursafety Health Net project as a Phd Student. This cross-border project aims to decrease health care associated infections in care settings, and thereby increase patient safety. Health care institutions in border regions need to cooperate and adapt their infection control measures due to increased migration of patients and health care workers and differences in prevalence and infection control measures. A communication platform is developed to enable information sharing and cooperation to control health care associated infections. The optimal form and content of this telematica platform will be investigated by Jobke. The process is guided/supported by business modeling, since Maarten van Limburg simultaneously develops a business model based on this case.
