Expertise
Marjolein Blomesath has studied Educational Sciences (pedagogiek) at the University of Groningen. After a two-year additional training, she was in 2003 generalist Educationalist (Orthopedagoog Generlist). Then, she has worked in the field of 10 years as a educationalist in both diagnostics and treatment. She has in this period focused on development problems at children and adolescents with intellectual disability and a sizeable problem behavior. Her expertise lies in the field of psychopathology of this group. In addition, she spent a lot of time coaching junior orthopedagogen and psychologists in the first years of their career. The last three years she has tasted entrepreneurship by starting a network organization. Marjolein starts now in the function of stagementor within the Department of psychology, health and technology & will be (guest) teacher on her areas of expertise.
