Prof.dr. Karin Sanders

Research

My main research interests include the effects of Human Resource Management, including Human Resource Development on the attitudes and behaviors, in terms of cooperative behavior, commitment, knowledge sharing, team learning and (short term) absenteeism of employees within teams. I am particularly interested in the effects of alignment between line managers and HRM/HRD managers on the organizational climate, defined as shared perception of the organization of employees within a team. In this sense my empirical research is related to the theoretical framework of Bowen and Ostroff (2004; Academy of Management Review).
