Research

Work engagement of employees is a very important factor with regard to their well being and performance. From individual and organizational perspectives, my research investigates how characteristics of work situations influence employees’ work engagement and behaviour. The PhD research is supervised by Prof. Dr. Karin Sanders and Dr. Piety Runhaar. The defense of my dissertation is planned for January 12, 2012.

I combine doing this research with my work at Accenture. I work as a senior manager Talent & Organization Performance for the management consulting practice of Accenture in the Netherlands. My clients are based in the financial industry and I am specialized in change management, engagement and human capital strategy.
