This course introduces nine state-of-the-art applied research methods of human factors, human-computer interaction and media psychology:

1.       Eye Tracking

2.       Usability Testing

3.       EEG

4.       Psychophysiological Measures

5.       Cognitive Workload Measures

6.       Cognitive Task Analysis

7.       Measuring emotional states

8.       Linear Models

9.       Card Sorting

In addition, a workshop on creative problem solving in groups prepares the students for teamwork in their study in professional career. 

Learning objectives

After taking this course students are able to:
