This course aims to introduce students with all aspects of research in psychology: they learn to design and perform an experiment in a systematic manner. First, students will search literature that is relevant for their topic and research question. They then will develop an hypothesis and design an experiment to test their hypothesis. Next, data will be collected and analyzed. Finally, the data will be interpreted and compared to the existing literature. The students will write a report on their study, in the form of a scientific paper. In addition, they will present their findings during a poster-session.
