Cognitive Psychology (192901080)

The course "Functieleer" (largely equivalent to Cognitive Psychology) deals with human functions ranging from perception, attention, memory, language, to motor control. Several methods and paradigms to study these functions will be introduced, partly demonstrated by so called ZAPs. The initial focus is fundamental, with the goal to provide sufficient basic knowledge for more applied courses. Both the information-processing approach and the Cognitive Science approach will be considered. In a few cases the relation with applied research questions will be illustrated.
