In 2007 I graduated at the department of Social and Organizational Psychology of Leiden University. Hereafter I completed the master track Cognition, Media and Ergonomics at the University of Twente. As of February 2009 I am a PhD student at the department Cognitive Psychology and Ergonomics. My PhD project focuses on context dependent learning. Research has shown that performance on a memory task is better when learning and testing take place within the same context. Recently it has been shown that these context effects influence motor skills as well and this is the specific focus of my research.
