“Women friendly work environment"
by Loreta Vaicaityte, Human-in-organisations adviser of the UT

Loreta will give a lecture on Women friendly work environment. Her interactive lecture comprises three basic parts:
1. Woman's pearls
2. Stumble-stones on the career road (Exercise + discussion)
3. "Restore the balance" solutions
Women though being each unique and having different talents, also have common strengths. It is pictured best in woman's archetype. Often in life and at work, they share not only similar victories, but also similar challenges. I will present the common woman stumble-stones at work and we will discuss which are the most recognizable and most influential. Lastly, we will touch on the solutions how to restore men-women power balance and to create a women-friendly environment.
Loreta is a young professional discovering her strength as a trainer and psychologist. Her background in Psychology gives her deep awareness about individual behaviour and arms her with active listening, body language and other counselling techniques. Her two Master courses equip her with training design and delivery competencies as well as coaching and HPI skills. She is well familiar with the standard training programs, such as negotiations, work-life balance, conflict management, change management and positive feedback.

FFNT aims to support the professional development of women in academia and to provide a network for sharing and exchanging experience. It develops workshops and lectures specially for women and also organises activities aimed at women jointly with PA&O (whose activities are otherwise gender neutral).
