Events & Parties

Every year hundreds of events and parties are organized on the campus of the University of Twente, among which are academic ceremonies like the Dies Natalis, the opening of the academic year, First-year graduation and inaugural lectures. Many other events take place such as the student introduction (IK), the Batavieren race (the world’s largest relay run, which closes with a fantastic party), sports tournaments, (student) parties and all kinds of socials.

Group events

For all parties and activities for which over 20 visitors are expected at the time the building is closed you need to register your event. For more information: www.reserveringen.utwente.nl/en/evenement/

You can also contact the Event Office (tel. 053 – 489 3075). He arranges the registration of the party with the gate-keeper and will inform you about regulations which apply to parties and activities on campus.
