Harmen Droogendijk’s work on biomimetic hair-sensors subject of NRC article.

The Dutch quality journal NRC has published a short article on the biomimetic hair-sensor work of Harmen Droogendijk. The article was triggered by a recent publication in Applied Physics Letters: "Non-resonant parametric amplification in biomimetic hair flow sensors: Selective gain and tunable filtering". In the paper it is demonstrated that the responsivity of flow sensors for harmonic flows can be improved significantly by non-resonant parametric amplification (see recent news flash).
