Fellowship at the Max-Planck Institute for Informatics for PhD-student Mena Habib!

Mena Habib, PhD-student of the DB group since May 2010, has been invited for a fellowship as a visiting scholar at the Max-Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken in Germany, a publicity funded institution, for a period of 4 months in the beginning of 2012. During the fellowship project Mena will be working on “Entity Disambiguation in Social Media” under the supervision of Dr. Marc Spaniol of the Databases and Information Systems department of Prof.dr. Gerhard Weikum.
