Abstract:

This talk will be divided into two parts: one visionary and one with plans for the next month. The visionary part will be about the first outline of my thesis topic: Information Retrieval on uncertain data. This will mainly be an overview what I did and what I plan to do.

The second part will be on support vector machines (SVMs) and their generation of probabilistic output (limited to one particular package). Here, I will present plans to verify and improve them by ruling out impossible combinations merry them with language modeling from Automatic Speech Recognition.
