Songyue Chen got the best poster award at NanoBIO Montreux

At the NanoTech Montreux 2009, the best poster award sponsored by BioAlps was given to Songyue Chen, with the topic “Top-down fabricated single crystal silicon nanowires for biosensing”. There has been an increasing interest in silicon nanowires due to their unique properties, especially for application in label-free biosensing. In this poster, a simple and robust top-down fabrication technology was presented, as well as electrical and electrochemical characterizations that show the matching of device behavior with the existing physical and electrochemical models.
