Microfluidic demonstrator

Example of a fluidic microsystem

Wanted: creative students (EL / TN / AT / CT / ..) to help us build a catchy and intriguing demonstrator.

The BIOS-chair wants to design and realize fluidic microsystems to be used as demonstrator at information days and lab projects for students as well as special gift for guests visiting our chair.

Possibly electrochemically induced colour reactions of liquids enclosed in the fluidic Microsystems can form the basis of the demonstrator. Other suitable operational principles are left to your imagination.

Don’t think less of the theoretical content of this assignment: a good theoretical understanding and a proper design of this system will require all your knowledge and understanding of microtechnology, (electro)chemistry and possibly electronics.
