Project summary |
The goal of the Freeband AWARENESS project is to research and design a service and network infrastructure for context aware mobile applications. This service and network infrastructures are validated through prototyping with ambient intelligent medical applications. Freeband AWARENESS integrates ubiquitous computing (i.e. lots of devices with communication capabilities), information processing and exchange of context parameters with mechanisms that support (pro-active) responsiveness of applications. The Freeband AWARENESS infrastructure will enable meaningful access to relevant information and services at the right time, and does this in a secure and privacy-sensitive manner.
