Amigo - "Bringing the Networked Home Environment to Life"

Seminar

Building smart and safe domestic environments in which multimedia content and information can be shared between homes, requires the integration of networking capabilities and the development of compelling services. Maintaining interoperability between different networked devices is a complex, error prone and costly task given the current variety of middleware technologiesm, network protocols and interfaces.

The Amigo one-day saeminar is intended for people who are responsible for new products and new applications for smart homes. The seminar introduces complex technical issues in a concise and easy to understand manner. Attendees will learn about issues and solutions for development, deployment and maintenance of smart services and devices in the networked home environment.

Major related key technologies are treated, for example, middleware architecture, concept specification tools and ontologies, security problems and situations.
