International knowledge-sharing festival and party time! University of Twente CuriousU Summer School, 11 to 18 August 2015

Two hundred international students have already signed up for the CuriousU summer school, scheduled to take place on the University of Twente campus from 11 to 18 August 2015. They come from no fewer than 28 different countries, ranging from Japan, India, and Australia to Finland and Germany. Most of these students will be staying at the festival campsite.

FESTIVAL ON THE UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE CAMPUS

The summer school offers a varied programme, one that is also suitable for Dutch students. It covers subjects like: A Boost for Health and Happiness, Design the Future, EntrepreneurialU, Hands-on Physics, Security & Risk Management, Serious Gaming, Smart Cities and Clean Water. In addition to the substantive part of the programme, the summer school offers a festival line-up featuring guests like: Victor Mids (illusionist), Ionica Smeets (science journalist), Bas Lansdorp (Mars One) and Greg Shapiro (cabaret artist). CuriousU concludes with a spectacular goodbye party featuring the internationally known DJ Funkerman. There are still a few places available. The festival fee is € 750, which includes accommodation at the campsite, food, a really stimulating festival, and inspirational speakers. It’s not too late to register.
