performances
We have a rich selection of performances. External theater producers, as well as our cultural associations, are happy to take you into the world of theater, dance and music. Are you coming to see a performance? Before or after a performance you can enjoy a drink in our cozy theater cafe.
Exhibitions
De Vrijhof has no less than two exhibition rooms, and a mobile exhibition, where artists show their creativity. The selection is broad and varied, with as many young artists from the region as possible being given the opportunity to exhibit their work. Feel free to walk in and get carried away in the world of wonder and creativity.
Art
The greenest campus in the Netherlands provides a beautiful backdrop for many works of art. Book a tour and take a stroll along the various works. In the pond opposite the Theatercafé the tower of a church just peeps out above the waterline. What did the artist Wim T. Schippers mean by this? Courses
Do you work or study at the UTwente? Then you can also use your creative talents as an individual in the Vrijhof. You can immerse yourself in painting, photography or music. Take a look at what's on offer, sign up and develop your creative side.
Cultural Associations
There are sixteen different cultural associations within the UT. Do you want to make music or sing in an orchestra, choir or big band? Or do you like to act in plays or musicals? Would you rather dance? Everything is possible. Together with a professional teacher you can get to work and further develop your passion.
