On Wednesday 11 April, the University of Twente hosted the first research conference on micro insurance. The UT was delighted that Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands visited the campus and attended the conference. The conference is organized by the Institute for Innovation and Governance Studies, a research institute of the University of Twente, in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as various international (research) institutes in the field of microfinance. p>
