Wetenschappelijk onderwijs kan verbeterd worden door computersimulaties te gebruiken. De vraag hoe hiermee het beste lesgegeven kan worden, is daarmee echter nog niet beantwoord. Dat is precies waarop ik mij richt in mijn promotieonderzoek. Afgelopen jaren heb ik mij verdiept in de literatuur (http://bit.ly/simrevart) en de praktijk (http://bit.ly/simobservatie) om erachter te komen hoe lesgeven en leren verbeterd kunnen worden door computersimulaties toe te passen. Momenteel voer ik een experiment uit, waarbij ik verschillende manieren van lesgeven met computersimulaties met elkaar vergelijk (http://bit.ly/simexphan).
