2 – Pre-requirements and enrolment

Pre-requirements of the Master Thesis CS

To be able to start with the Master Thesis CS, and thus to be assigned to a tutor, following (minimal) pre-requirements have to be met:

1.	Admission to the Master CS by means of a completed bachelor CW, pre-master CS or else obtained bachelor degree, upon which a direct admittance to the master programme CS is granted.

2.	Successful completion of the (compulsory) courses Essentials (10EC) and Research Topics (5EC) of the chosen master specialisation.

3.	Successful completion of at least one (5EC) elective course out of the available elective courses in the master programme CS.

Enrolment for the Master Thesis CS (Student Mobility System)

Starting from the second semester of the academic year 2011/2012, students are required to enrol or register for the Master Thesis CS by using the Student Mobility System (SMS). The SMS is one of the web-applications which can be found at your student portal or by using the following shortcut:

Please note that the SMS system will only be used for registration purposes and not for communication purposes. By means of the registration in the SMS, the education is aware of your intention to start the Master Thesis CS in a given period. Thus, when registering in the SMS, always mention the desired starting date or period of your Master Thesis CS.
