Areas

Issues of procurement and contracting in construction industry. Current research focuses on procurement methods in construction industry, especially the impact of public sector procurement and project delivery methods on market dynamics, industry structure, entrepreneurship and innovation in construction industry. Preferred perspectives (theory): neo-institutional economic, evolutionary economic and industrial organization and entrepreneurship. Current special interests:

-	Public Procurement strategies, entrepreneurial climate & technology dynamics in asphalt road construction industry;

-	Development of systems integrators in construction industry;

-	Public procurement policies & practice of decentral authorities;

-	Regional Knowledge & Innovation Clusters in Construction Industry

-	SMART Technologies & Virtual Reality in road construction industry
