Energy and Sustainability

CTIT has limited but growing research activities in the domains Energy and sustainability. Important areas are energy-efficiency via micro-CHP, energy pricing, optimalization of traffic-, transport and logistics processes, and environmental monitoring via sensor networks.

CTIT has bundled some of its research on renewable energy with other research institutes at the University of Twente (MESA+ and IGS) into the Green Energy Initiative: www.utwente.nl/greenenergy
