BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE FOR CROSS CHAIN CONTROL CENTERS
Description of research
The goal of this research is to provide logistic managers with the tools to make decisions surrounding their logistic processes, as part of cross chain collaboration. Cross chain collaboration is a combination of inter- and intra-supply chain collaboration, aimed at maximizing the efficiency of use of scarce resources, and by doing that, increasing the sustainability of the supply chain.
This research will focus on using data and process mining based tools to predict aspects of logistics. These tools will make use of existing historical data. Challenges are, amongst other things, dealing with noisy and fuzzy data.
