High speed reconfigurable DAC

Description of research

The goal for this project is to design a DAC that fits within a reconfigurable transceiver architecture which is capable of changings its specifications depending on the requirements for a specific task.

This sets the two main requirements for the DAC: High speed and reconfigurable. A high maximum sampling rate is required to be able to do as much as possible in the digital domain, which inherently allows for a greater reconfigurability than the analog domain. Reconfigurability allows the DAC to always have the correct specifications for a certain task.
