IST calls sceduled for 16-11-2004 and 17-5-2005 The new two-year work programme for the IST theme of FP6 has been approved. This opens the way for three new calls for proposals. Two of these calls are scheduled for 16 November 2004 and 17 May 2005. In addition, the Commission will make an open call for research proposals addressing Future and Emerging technologies which are, in general, beyond the scope of the Strategic Objectives. ... read more |

Workshop: The Virtuality Continuum Revisited For the third time in succession the "Human Media Interaction" (HMI) research section of the CTIT succeeded to get a workshop proposal accepted at the most important international conference on Computer Human Interaction (CHI). In 2005 we will organize a workshop on the virtuality continuum (multi-party interaction between human and virtual agents in smart/ambient environments) at CHI 2005 in Portland.
