The complete multi-disciplinary domain of CHOIR has an important role in education at the University of Twente. This is perhaps best observed in the master program “Industrial Engineering & Management”. More specifically, the tracks “Healthcare Technology & Management”, “Production & Logistic Management”, and “Information Technology & Management” use healthcare as an important application domain. Additionally, several applied mathematicians and mechanical engineers choose healthcare oriented elective courses, master assignments, and internships.

Many students are involved in CHOIR projects for a graduation assignment of internship, and many of these students pursue a career as a consultant or manager in healthcare.
