Our International Students Website aims to provide practical information for admitted international students. Admitted international students are assisted by International Office in arranging their visa application, housing accommodation and other formalities. International Office also supports international students during their entire study period at the UT, even before arrival.

Our Student Counselling Service is responsible for the support of individual and groups of students. The followings services we have to offer:

Student Progress Evaluation

This evaluation process is applicable to first-year Bachelors students of certain programmes who must meet minimum performance norms.

 

Academic Delay

Terms, conditions and application forms regarding financial support for academic delays due to personal circumstances, student activism, sport or arts activities.

The Students’ Charter

A description of the rights and obligations of both students and the University of Twente.

 

Financial Support

Under certain circumstances, (international) students who have, or expect to have, an academic delay may be eligible for financial support.

Complaints Desk

Information for (current or former) students or external candidates wishing to make a formal complaint, appeal or objection.

 

Student Psychologist

For assistance and support on a range of life-skill issues and personal problems.

Student Counsellor

This service is the first point of contact for free individual counselling on a wide range of issues including personal, academic, financial or cultural problems, as well as issues around diversity, health and disability.
