To be offered a place in the Bachelor’s in International Business Administration, you need to meet a number of requirements, depending on whether your previous education was in the Netherlands or elsewhere.
Information about Dutch diplomas can be found at the Dutch pages.
Students with a school-leaving certificate from another country are admitted into the programme providing the certificate is equivalent to the Dutch VWO-certificate (for example, the German Abitur, the Belgian 'Diploma van Secundair Onderwijs', or the International or European Baccalaureate).
A further requirement is that you have a reasonable grasp of Mathematics and a satisfactory command of English. This can either have been part of your subject cluster for your school-leaving certificate or, alternatively, you can fulfil this requirement by completing the University of Twente entrance exam. Students with a German Abitur certificate with “Mathematik und Englisch bis zum Abitur” are directly admitted to the International Business Administration programme without any further requirements.
Students with a different foreign certificate are advised to contact the Admission Office of the University of Twente well in advance. Please telephone the office on (+0031) 53 489 4317 or e-mail: admissionoffice@utwente.nl. The Admission Office will determine whether you meet the admission requirements for the Bachelor’s programme in International Business Administration.
If you are an international student who doesn’t require a visa the deadline for enrolment is 1 June 2012. The deadline for international students who do require a visa is 1 May 2012.
