The enrollment in a course at a government-funded institution of higher education in the Netherlands has to be done online by the website Studielink. Here you will find a (Dutch, English or a German) manual containing all the steps you will have to take before your enrollment is arranged. |

If you are visiting the site for the first time, please click “Apply for user name and password” to registrate. If you finish the registration-procedure at Studielink, than Studielink will control your personal data. Please take into account this could take some time because you are living abroad. Dutch Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA)Because you are not registrated in the Dutch Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA), you will get an e-mail saying your personal details can not be found in the GBA Database. The e-mail will let you know that you do not have to contact the University of Twente and you can still use all the functions of Studielink. Further, you will get your verification code by e-mail (also if they can not find you in the Municipal Personal Records Database). You need to enter this code on www.studielink.nl to complete your enrollment. The next step is to register at the University. You can fill in when you would like to start studying, where and what you would like to study. If you finish the online application you will get a form that you have to print and send to your University! In that case the university also knows your address. If you are having problems to fill in the form, please contact us. We will try to help you the best we could! |
