Aegee-society HJC Kapabel has won first prize of €4000,- at the think tank competition 'Create Tomorrow' 2011. They were awarded the title of best university team. Five out of the eight team members were students Creative Technology (Boris Das, Duuk Baten, Stefan Witkamp, Wouter Deenik an Jelle Pingen), the other three study ‘Technische Bedrijfskunde’.

The Kapabel team came up with a ‘Thales Festival System’; a smartphone app for both visitors and festival staff in case of emergency or mass panic. About 1250 students from all over the Netherlands participated in the think tank competition on the university campus.
