Student exhibition "Art meets Technology"Thursday February 17, the SmartXP lab hosted "Art meets Technology", an exciting student art exhibition from the AKI, CreaTe and the minor Art, Media & Technology. The exhibition offered a variety of art pieces, from objects and multi-media presentations to interactive installations. |

The 'Virtual Storyteller'The 'Virtual Storyteller', developed by Ivo Swartjes of the University of Twente, is a computer-controlled system that generates stories automatically. Soon it will be possible for you as a player to take on the role of a character and 'step inside' the story, which then unfolds on the basis of what you as a player do. |

Digital PlaygroundIn July 2010, children aged eight to twelve could be seen chasing one another round the University of Twente's Smart XP lab, while circles and figures were projected on the floor.
