The University of Twente is a unique university. If you’re thinking about applying, the best way to find out more about studying and living at Twente is to come and see for yourself, at our Open Day. Come and get to know us, and learn more about the degree programme that you’re interested in!
While our next Open Day will have a distinctly international orientation, Dutch students are also more than welcome to come join us on March 21st.
To accommodate our international audience all presentations will be in English. However on the immediately following Open Days, on the 22nd and 23rd of March, the language used for Dutch programmes will be Dutch and the information that day is specifically for Dutch students.
The University of Twente currently offers six different English taught Bachelor of Science degree programmes (BSc.):
· |
ATLAS University College |
· |
Advanced Technology |

The Open Day is a perfect opportunity to find out about the course content of your degree programme, how the degree is structured, as well as about the areas of specialisation you can develop. Discover what kinds of careers you’ll be eligible for when you graduate, and even about your career prospects once you enter the job market. You can even get the benefit of firsthand experience by talking to students who are currently studying your subject.
In addition to the opening plenary session, there are two information sessions that you can sign up for. These sessions will provide you with more detailed information about your chosen discipline. But the Open Day is not just about finding out about the courses we offer, it is also your chance to find out about the practicalities of studying, including finances, housing, and the visa process-- all of which will be of interest to international students.
Below is an overview of the Open Day programme of events and information sessions. Sign up for one or both sessions, and round off your Open Day with a guided tour to introduce you to the campus and its facilities, and/or attend the information fair, where staff and students will be available to answer your questions.
