Master programmes

Most students will continue their studies in a one- or two year Master’s programme. Because at ATLAS you learn how to solve problems at the intersection of disciplines, you will find that your honours degree gives you a competitive advantage when applying to most master programmes. Instead of knowing everything about a few subjects, you are able to generalize information from a range of academic areas and apply them directly. And, being an academic all rounder, you will also have acquired a solid foundation in understanding complex technical matter, just like students of mono-disciplinary programmes receive.

Depending on the choices you make along the way you will be eligible for both technical and social master programmes. Of course your tutors and assessors provide intensive guidance in making these choices and help you determine what courses or subjects you will need to focus on in order to be eligible for the master programme of your choice. This way we ensure that every ATLAS student can make the best possible transition.

Directly admissible to UT master programmes

When you graduate from ATLAS you are directly admissiable to all master programmes of the University of Twente (except Technical Medicine) from Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science to Nanotechnology, Business Administration and Psychology.
