Notebook/Laptop

Students starting a bachelors or masters program of the EEMC faculty are advised to purchase a laptop, but it is certainly not obliged. First year students are advised to buy the laptop selected yearly by the UT for the upcoming academic year. The selection is made by taking into account the performance, price, robustness, expected life, maintenance, etc.

The selected laptop is offered with guarantee and a service package of three years at an all inclusive price. The Notebook Service Center (NSC) ensures that students can use the laptop for a minimum of three years for educational purposes. This implies that if students encounter problems they will have a working laptop at their disposal within an hour. As soon as more information is available it will be announced at the website of the NSC.
